My second day here I came to the MC office and visit center of the city with Prashant. The MC office is in the UoN (University of Nairobi), and it is in the center of the city. Nairobi is not very big, but it´s nice, have a lot of green areas and it´s clean.

After that Ingrid came to the MC office to pick up me, and we went to her house. She live with her family: Mum, Dad, 4 sisters and 1 brother. The house is a typical kenyan family house, and it´s very good. They are very friendly with me and they don´t know nothing about me, it was so amazing! :)

The first night I learnt to eat with my hands (hehehehe... :P) : Ugali ( a tipical food here to make of flour) and some vegetables. They invited me to go the next day to her cousin weeding. It was so kind for me... only one day in Kenya and I am invited to one weeding!!

Next day I wake up early and came to the MC office with Ingrid to check my email and to learn the way. The streets in Nairobi are more safe that I imagined. You need to be carefull sometimes with some people, but it´s good. If you go with Kenyan people you don´t have any problem. But if you go alone or with foreing people.. well you need to be more carefull with your things. Only this.

This evening I went to the weeding with Ingrid family. It was fantastic!!! The Kenyan weddings are very very very different that in Spain. They are very catholic, but the banquet is before of the ceremony. After that the ceremony was amazing... people is like a big community in the church, and they sang, participate in the ceremony, interpret a play, and everythings in a happy environment.

After that, we went go out to some pubs in Nairobi. We meet with Jerome (MC CEED, he is from Quebec, Canada), Prashant and two trainees in Uganda from German and Denmark. The night was amazing, very very funny and I enjoyed a lot! :)

Two days ago I meet Manuela (MCVP TM current) and I took my dinner with her and Jerome. It was a great time to share different AIESEC experiences. Yesterday I went with Jerome to visit the city. I could see the parlament, the International Kenya Conferences Bulding, National Archieves, Moi Avenue, and overall.. the central park. OH!!!! I love central park. It´s a very nice place in the city. I want to come back there other time!

Today I am in the MC office to work. I have had my first part of my takeover with Manuela, and now I have one by one meeting with Fiona, my MCP (President of AIESEC Kenya... my boss :P) After that I will go to trainees meeting in a pub.

See you tomorrow! :)

I fly to Kenya with KLM and Kenya airways. My first flight was London to Amsterdam, and my second flight was Amsterdam to Nairobi, but it was delayed because my plane have a problem with a motor. So I was one night in Amsterdam, and I could visit Kevin. :) It was a great time at the Kevin home with him, Abbi, and other girl that I can remember her name now (sorry).

My flight Amsterdam - Nairobi departure next day: 1 April , to 12 o´clock. I could sit closed to the windows and it was very amazing because I saw the Africa landscape. Woooauuuuu... the desert is amazing! I had a great sensation of freedom in my flight. I enjoyed it very much! :)

When I arrieved to Jommo Airport, in Nairobi, Prashant, Serah, Diana, Dooren, George, Martin, were awaiting for me! It was fantastic, they gave me a Kenyan beer. And after that we were to pick up Fiona and Brenda in the University of Nairobi to go a Karaoke where to have a party with trainees. This time was crazy... everypeople sang english songs... I really think that this year members of AIESEC want that I learn to sing! (Teresa.. you can understand it). When we go out to the Karaoke.. we went to a Kenyan Pub. It was my first cultural shok I think.. people dancing and take beers. They dancing very very good, and very different that in Spain or Europe.. I want to learn about this news movements ;).

My first night I sleept at Prashant home. He have a beautiful house where he live with his father. Thanks very much for your accomodation Prashant!!!!!!!!!! I felt like my house! :)

Well.. other day I write more about my experience here.
